π‘ Tips for Visitors
The park is best visited from late April to early November when mountain routes are accessible; Kamikochi area is closed in winter. Most mountain huts and facilities are cash-only, so bring sufficient Japanese yen. English signage is limited outside main areas like Kamikochi, so download offline maps and consider hiring a guide for challenging routes.
