Murin-an Garden is a stunning example of a Meiji-era Japanese landscape garden located in the Kyoto's Okazaki district, designed by the renowned gardener Ogawa Jihei VII for statesman Yamagata Aritomo. The garden features a serene pond fed by waters from the Lake Biwa Canal, carefully pruned trees, and expansive lawn areas that blend traditional Japanese aesthetics with Western influences.
