💡 Tips for Visitors
Most restaurants accept credit cards, but smaller street food vendors may be cash-only, so bring yen. Visit during the Nagasaki Lantern Festival (late January to mid-February) for the most spectacular experience with illuminated decorations throughout the area. While English menus are available at major restaurants, pointing at plastic food displays in windows is a helpful way to order at smaller establishments.
