Senjōjiki Cirque is a dramatic glacially-carved valley located in the Japanese Alps, offering breathtaking panoramic views of surrounding peaks and alpine landscapes. The name 'Senjōjiki' means 'thousand tatami mats,' referring to the vast expanse of the plateau area that resembles traditional Japanese flooring. Accessible by ropeway, this natural amphitheater showcases Japan's stunning mountain scenery and is particularly spectacular during the autumn foliage season and when spring wildflowers bloom.
