π‘ Tips for Visitors
Visit between December and March for the best chance to see monkeys bathing in the hot springs, as they prefer the warmth during colder months. The park requires a 30-40 minute walk along a forest trail from the parking area, so wear comfortable waterproof shoes and dress warmly in winter. Entry is cash-only (around 800 yen), and while English signage is available, verbal English support is limited.
