💡 Tips for Visitors
Purchase a through-ticket at the starting point (either Tateyama or Ogizawa station) as it's more economical than buying individual segments. The route is extremely popular during the Snow Corridor season (April-May) and autumn foliage (October), so arrive early or book accommodations along the route in advance. English signage and announcements are available at major stops, and Japan Rail Pass holders can access nearby stations but must purchase separate tickets for the Alpine Route transportation.
