The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is a spectacular mountain transportation network traversing the Northern Japan Alps, connecting Toyama and Nagano prefectures through a series of cable cars, ropeways, trolley buses, and highland buses. This 90-kilometer route offers breathtaking views of towering mountain peaks, the famous Kurobe Dam, and the iconic snow corridor with walls reaching up to 20 meters high in spring.
