Hanamiyama Park is a stunning hillside garden in Fukushima City, renowned as one of Japan's most beautiful cherry blossom viewing spots during spring. Originally a private flower farm, the generous owner opened this floral paradise to the public, where visitors can walk among weeping cherry trees, plum blossoms, forsythia, and colorful azaleas creating a breathtaking natural canvas. The panoramic views from the hilltop showcase a sea of pink and white blossoms with the snow-capped mountains as a backdrop, making it a photographer's dream destination.

π‘ Tips for Visitors
Visit during early to mid-April for peak cherry blossom season, though the park offers beautiful flowers from late March through May. Access requires a 20-minute bus ride from Fukushima Station (buses run frequently during bloom season), and parking can be extremely limited during peak times. The walking trails involve uphill paths, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water; facilities are basic with limited English signage, but the marked circular route is easy to follow.
