The trail is approximately 10km round trip and takes 4-5 hours, so bring proper hiking shoes, water, and snacks as there are no facilities along the route. Access requires a car as public transportation is very limited; the trailhead is about 2.5 hours drive from Tokyo. Visit during autumn foliage season (late October) or in early summer for the freshest water flows, but avoid visiting after heavy rain as the trail can be dangerous.
